Our ministries and activities

First Southern Baptist Church, Chowchilla, offers various ministries designed to support and enrich our community and church family. We aim to introduce people to Jesus, foster faith, spread love, and be a beacon of hope through these programs.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Join us June 29th-July 3rd, 6-8:30pm for the brightest week of this summer. Explore Bible stories, make awesome crafts, sing and dance to fabulous and fun music, and play games. Dinner will be served every evening. We will learn that Jesus is the Light of the World!

Holiday potlucks & food baskets

We organize warm holiday potlucks and provide food baskets during the holidays to support families and individuals.

Fall festival

Our annual Fall Festival is a joyous event for all ages, featuring activities and fellowship for the entire community.

Our ministries and activities are designed for everyone—children, families, and individuals of all ages are welcome to join. We believe in fostering a supportive and loving environment where everyone can grow in faith and connect with our community.
